Team Dragons Go Back-to-Back and Sweep the Americas Kill Standings
A 39-kill win put Team Dragons in front of Cash Cup #3 Americas. They stayed there for the rest of the final.
Dragons finished the October 3 tournament with 201 points, 124 kills and their second Cash Cup title in a week. Noble Dynasty took second with 164 points, followed by Call Of Legends on 145. The result earned Dragons $4,000 from the region’s $10,000 prize pool.
There were 92 squads in the Americas field and 24 in the final. By the time the tournament ended, the top four places in the region’s overall kill standings all belonged to Dragons: Tana, Scummy, Astonish2k and dust.
The match that put Dragons ahead came early. After finishing third with 15 kills in the opener, they won game two with 39 kills. The win was worth 61 points and brought their running total to 90. Call Of Legends, who had won the opening game, were on 62.
Scummy accounted for 17 of those 39 kills. He also recorded 1,983 damage and four revives. Tana added nine kills, dust seven and Astonish2k six. Dust led the match with 15 assists; Astonish2k had 14. All four players had a substantial part in the game that changed the standings.
Dragons then finished third in game three and 11th in game four. They collected eight and 15 kills in those matches, keeping points coming through a stretch without another win.
Game five gave them more room at the top: first place, 26 kills and another 48 points. Astonish2k dealt 3,039 damage in that match, the highest total in the lobby. Scummy led the game in kills with nine, while Astonish2k and dust each added seven.
The closing game was their lowest placement of the final. Dragons finished 18th, collecting no placement points, but their 21 kills still added 21 to the scoreboard. Noble Dynasty won the match with 22 kills and moved into second overall. Dragons finished 37 points clear.
Both teams won twice. The difference was the volume of eliminations: Dragons had 124 to Noble’s 86. Subtracting kills from their final scores leaves Dragons with 77 placement points and Noble with 78. Dragons’ 38 extra kills produced the 37-point winning margin.
That leaves two sets of player numbers worth separating. The final lasted six games; the full tournament, including qualifiers, covered 14. Across those 14 games, the Dragons roster combined for 396 kills and swept the Americas’ top four individual spots.
| Player | Total kills | Kills per game | Average damage per game |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tana | 131 | 9.36 | 1,901 |
| Scummy | 98 | 7.00 | 1,241 |
| Astonish2k | 84 | 6.00 | 1,555 |
| dust | 83 | 5.93 | 1,385 |
The averages above are for Cash Cup #3 as a whole, rather than the final alone.
Tana finished with the most total kills across all three regions. His best game brought 18, and his 131 overall put him 33 ahead of Scummy in the Americas standings. RDSC.gg named him its event MVP. He also led Dragons in average damage, at 1,901 per game—a strong return across the entire day’s competition.
Scummy’s biggest contribution came when the title was being decided. He recorded 42 kills in the six-game final, more than any other Dragons player and just over a third of the team’s total. His 17 kills in game two accounted for more than 40% of Dragons’ eliminations in that match. The full-event tally of 98 left him second in the Americas.
Astonish2k came into this event after receiving RDSC.gg’s MVP recognition at Cash Cup #2. He finished this one with 84 kills and an average of 1,555 damage per game. His fifth-game damage total stands out because it came in the win that gave Dragons more room at the top of the scoreboard.
Dust finished just one kill behind Astonish2k, with 83. He averaged 1,385 damage per game, and his second-game line—seven kills, 1,667 damage and 15 assists—shows how much he contributed to that first match victory. Dragons had four players among the leading scorers, with useful damage and assist numbers alongside the eliminations.
The two consecutive titles have brought different scorelines. Dragons won Cash Cup #2 with 216 points and 111 final kills. At Cup #3, they finished with fewer points but 13 more eliminations. Astonish2k received RDSC.gg’s MVP recognition for the earlier event; Tana received it this time.
The two first-place finishes carry $8,000 in combined team prize awards under EA’s published payout schedule. As of October 9, Dragons also hold first place in RDSC.gg’s world Redline ranking with 1,254 points.
Cash Cup #4 follows on October 10, with the prize pool increasing to $25,000 per region. Dragons have won the last two Americas cups. A third would close the Season 4 Cash Cup schedule with three straight titles—and this latest result gives the rest of the field a clear picture of the scoring they will have to match.
